THE WHITE EAGLE THEATRE OF CREATIVE THOUGHT FOR THE HERE AND NOW TM
On navigating the universe, my Granddaddy would say things like this:
1. Read the text (all the world is the text) 2. Do your homework 3. Call it as you see it 4. Let the chips fall where they may 5. Then review
To find out if a dog will hunt, give him a bone and watch what he does with it
Your name is what you make of it
"There's never been anything like it in the history of the world!" Everyone could say this. How many do? Why or why not? Do you think you are God's gift to the world? Why not--who wants to look a gift horse in the mouth?
Everything I say, anything you ask (more on this later)
When I say "for what it's worth," I mean the value you derive from it will be proportional to the value you ascribe to it
A difference between "I believe in God," and "God exists" is that the latter calls for a justification, while the former doesn't. Yet, some will call for a justification of the former and many will attempt to provide one. Why?
